Beyond Words: Building Communication-Rich Classrooms/Childcares for Autistic Learners

This workshop is designed to support participants understand communication needs for autistic and neurodiverse learners.

This workshop will help participants understand how to integrate best practice communication strategies into the classroom and across the school environment to create successful inclusion.

There are many different types of Alternate and Augmentative Communication Supports to help children with complex communication needs: this workshop will help participants develop confidence to implement a range of high and low-tech communication supports to help individual students to thrive.
