Inclusive Communities
Our team at Autism Inclusive are passionate to support vulnerable communities in Perth and Regional and Remote regions of Western Australia. We have been advocating for funding to support Western Australian families who are at risk of isolation from their community, increasing the risk of family breakdown, and further isolating the child with disability from accessing timely early intervention supports.
Community Support Service
Our service is dedicated to helping community organisations create inclusive environments for individuals with autism and their families. We offer expert guidance and can partner with your organisation to seek grants to deliver the following :
-
Implementing Inclusive Practices: Strategies for integrating inclusive practices within your organisation to support and engage individuals with autism.
-
Developing Supportive Programs: Designing and implementing programs that cater to the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
-
Fostering Awareness and Understanding: Enhancing community awareness and understanding of autism to build a more inclusive and supportive environment.
Partnering with us enables your organisation to create welcoming spaces where people with autism feel valued and included. We help facilitate full participation in community activities and encourage the building of strong, supportive relationships with other families. Together, we can cultivate a more inclusive and connected community for everyone.
Our team have been involved in developing many inclusive community projects that have won multiple awards, including Autism in Cricket, and Autism Champions for day care.
Innovative Solutions - Early Education and Care
At Autism Inclusive, we partner with early childhood education and care services through the Australian Government’s Innovative Solutions Support funding. Our tailored training, mentoring, and coaching programs help build educator confidence and capacity to support the inclusion of autistic children and those with diverse developmental needs. We work directly with childcare teams to embed neuro-affirming, evidence-based practices that foster participation, communication, and meaningful learning. Through ongoing support and collaboration, we empower services to create inclusive environments where every child can thrive - Contact us for more information
Kaleidoscope Program
Autism Inclusive are thrilled to be part of the collaboration with Greenhouse Paediatrics, NGALA and Parenting connection WA to provide:
Early Support for Developmental Delays
Kaleidoscope is a free program designed to help families with young children (0–8 years) who may be showing signs of developmental delay. We partner with trusted community organisations, schools and childcare services to identify children early and connect families to the right supports.
Our team of highly skilled Allied Health Therapists (Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Psychologists) provide up to 20 hours of support to help families navigate developmental concerns, link into funded and non-funded services and build a community of support around their child
Early intervention in regional WA
In collaboration with our partner organisations, the Kaleidoscope team will travel to regional and remote areas of Western Australia to deliver customised training for childcares, local organisations and families, based on the needs of each individual community.
This program is proudly supported by the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation and its core values of compassion, collaboration, empowerment and sustainability underpin every aspect of Kaleidoscope
